Blessings in a Backpack - Summer 2022
We have partnered with Roswell United Methodist Church, Our Neighbors Pantry, and Must Ministries to help our neighbors in North Fulton County. We will be handing out food bags at a ‘drive through’ distribution on June 20th and July 18th.
In the past, this outreach program has had over 300 cars drive through to receive food, produce and more. Unfortunately, this need has continued to increase and expectations for an even larger number of families needing assistance is highly probable.
We will be providing food bags for the families and would welcome YOUR support! Food bags/donations can be dropped off at either Johns Creek Books and Gifts or the Blessings in a Backpack workroom located at 530 Blue Heron Way, Milton.
Food Bags:
cans of canned protein (chicken. tuna, vienna sausage)
Box of Mac/cheese
Cans of Fruit
Cans of Vegetables
Soup
Dried rice and beans
box of granola bars
Extras
Pasta and Pasta sauce
Cereal
packages of goldfish/crackers/popcorn or any sort of snack mix
Slim Jims or any sort of jerky
