This year, we are excited to be collaborating with local schools in hosting a student poetry slam. The theme for this year's slam is "Change". Poems can be submitted in any style or format but must follow these rules. 

• Poems should be able to be read in under 3 minutes

• Poetry should be submitted via email to johnscreekbooks@gmail.com with the subject "2020 Poetry Slam.

• Name, grade, and school should all be included at the top of the submission. 

• Original submissions only 

• Poems should not include profanity

• Poets should be able to present their poem at Johns Creek Books and Gifts on March 19th, 2020.

Poets selected and their families will be invited to a reading of the selected works at the store. National English Honor Society members may receive hours for their submissions/recitations.
